All Dressed Up. Where Should We Go?

Taylor's pretty dress from friends.
Taylor had a great cardiologist appointment yesterday. Her heart condition is progressing as expected, but thankfully nothing out of the ordinary. We are managing everything just fine. Now that she has made it to 9 pounds, were told she would be able to have her surgery (just one) at anytime if need be, without having to break it up into two because of her size. With 4-6 months being the golden window, the plan is to wait another 2 months before this happens. We are praying for this small or big hurdle ahead of us.

Taylor continues to thrive and change as any other 2 month old. She's eating so well and sleeping through the night. She's such a content and easy going baby girl, loving to be cuddled. In the last week we have started getting little smiles from her. We all just keep hanging over her to see if we can't get one.. nothing better. She also had her first visit with her new therapist this week. We are looking forward to what that will bring down the road.

God continues to BLOW OUR MINDS with His many provisions. He works in ways which we cannot see. There has been such an overwhelming amount of support and giving, we want to give back. We were blessed with a medical fund set up for Taylor's extra expenses. We just heard of how some have been collecting tabs on soda cans for the Ronald McDonald House and delivering them. We have connected with a few families with a small child with down syndrome and are looking forward to meeting and learning from them. I recently found out that my "secret sister" through our school group has a daughter with down syndrome! We all get to meet each other this week. Wow God.. you amaze. All this is of You. Then there is Christmas Eve which brought an unexpected surprise by a dear friend and her family and friends. We have been so touched and blessed, our cup truly does overflow. Words cannot express our gratitude. All our love to you and praise to God for all His goodness.
