Was just reading this..

"The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

God's peace is far different from the world's peace. Jesus even said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." God's peace is not what we think.. a result based on circumstances, positive thinking or feelings (Though often times I allow it effect me. This week started out rough, but I think I'm back on track now.). His peace is so much more complete and firm. All of these things mentioned in life are constantly changing. There are so many uncertainties in this world. So many changes... good, bad or different. But one thing that is never changing and never failing... God, His Word. Test it. What assurance and solid foundation we have. Our future is set and God is in control. I do not have to worry..

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33
