Taylor's surgery has been scheduled for the last week in April. It's going to be full week, starting with a busy pre-op day, surgery the next and then 7 to 10 days to recover. She will be needing blood during this time. We can donate specifically for Taylor at the San Diego Blood Bank, if compatible to her. This will need to happen within two weeks before surgery and some is needed specifically 5 days before. To donate call the SD Blood Bank's SPECIAL PROCEDURES Dept. to make a "donor direct" appointment. 877-659-2001 . They will need her name and birth date. You can let us know if your interested and we can talk specifics on what to do in April.

Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. She's doing great, smiling and cooing.. we just love her!

I am sure that Taylor will get through this just fine and you will be watching her spread those little butterfly wings soon!! She is so precious. I look forward to following your journey! We will be praying for a speedy recovery and will be sure to send lots of positive energy your way too:)

I am glad that you got her surgery date scheduled so you can move on with your life. I know you mentioned just wanting to get this part over and done with. Do you know what blood types she can receive? I am A- and my husband is O+ (I think). We can definitely donate if needed. I hope we can try to get together again before her surgery because I need some more baby loves!! And finally....that is the BEST PICTURE EVER!!!!

My son and daughter both had complete AVSD repairs...Jace had his in February 2010 and LC had hers in February 2009...we'll be thinking of you in April and can't wait to follow Little T's amazing recovery and first year of wonders!
